What We Do

  • Coordinate and support PHCs across Lagos Island
  • Deliver routine immunisation and child welfare clinics
  • Provide antenatal, postnatal, and maternal health support
  • Run community health outreach and education campaigns
  • Support disease surveillance and public health emergencies
  • Collect and report health data for planning purposes

Core Functions

1. Support to PHCs and Health Facilities

  • Coordinating with Primary Health Centres within Lagos Island LG
  • Supporting delivery of routine services such as immunisation and antenatal care

2. Community Health Promotion

  • Organising outreach, immunisation, maternal health and hygiene campaigns

3. Disease Prevention and Surveillance

  • Supporting public health campaigns and collaborating during outbreaks

4. Health Data and Reporting

  • Collecting and reporting PHC data for evidence-based planning
